Exploration Place is located in Wichita, and is a popular place to visit, both for visitors to the city as well as the locals. Because they have not only their own great set of exhibits, but also rotating exhibits that come from around the world, there is always something new to see and do at the Exploration Place.
In the Kids Explore area, the young ones can explore a three story medieval themed castle and learn all about the Middle Ages. The kids love this area!
This is the largest domed theater in Kansas, and it is quite impressive to behold. The 60ft screen makes the digital shows such as Seven Wonders, Cosmic Collisions, and Microcosm come alive. Admission for most of the shows is $2. However, the price of some of the special shows (Pink Floyd) is a bit higher, usually around $5.
